植牙能夠挽救牙骨

一顆牙齒缺失,會導致掉更多的牙齒缺失。因為一顆牙齒不見了,正常的顎骨會萎縮,而圍繞牙齒的牙週也會被慢慢侵蝕、損毀。

除了拔牙、牙周病、感染、牙列不齊、假牙、牙橋、鼻竇以及創傷,都可能導致顎骨萎縮。如果對缺失的牙齒進行補救,植牙是可以幫助阻止進一步的口腔惡化。

植牙是將鈦螺絲塞入牙根缺失的地方,然後在露出牙床的部位,套上一個用陶瓷研磨的牙冠。鈦螺絲的外表鍍上了一層可促使牙骨生長的物質,能幫助人體牙骨和植入物之間更好的粘接效果。

人體會認為植入物是一顆牙齒,然後刺激牙骨在植入物周圍生長。牙骨的生長過程恰好能夠固定住植入物,形成一個新的「牙根」,這種粘接使得新的植入物變得更緊密,甚至比以前的牙根都更穩固。

通過這種方式,植牙可以幫你扭轉牙齒脫落的困境,而且比其它口腔修復更有優勢,根據紐約植牙中心主任馬克‧扎勒(Mark Zahler)醫生的介紹。「因為即便有了牙橋和假牙,牙骨也會慢慢流失,然後萎縮。而植入的牙就像天然長成的牙一樣,對許多病人都是一個大大的收穫。」

植牙不會萎縮牙骨

通常牙醫會先用一系列的膨脹螺絲插入植牙部位,然後再放置植入物,而不需要鑽走任何骨頭。

膨脹螺絲看上去很像植牙螺絲,但是材質實際上是不銹鋼金屬。首先植入一個小螺絲,把缺失牙齒部位的牙洞擴大,在這過程中病患能感到對應位置上有一點點的壓力。然後牙醫會移除這顆嵌入的小螺絲,再接著植入一顆略大的螺絲到牙骨中。這個過程反復進行,直到鑽出的牙洞(孔)達到能準確植入的大小。

「牙骨是有彈性的,它會膨脹、收縮,就像橡皮筋一樣」,扎勒說。當植入物最終被插入時,牙骨會繞著植入物長,就像圍繞腰部的鬆緊帶一樣。「形象地說,它就像條褲子,而且比之前穿的還要緊」。

但是如果患者的顎骨惡化得很厲害,在植入物被替代之前,必須補骨。通常,補骨用的是合成的或者天然的牙齒(通常是從牛或人體上取下的),尤其是上顎的牙骨開始侵蝕到竇腔下方,補骨是最好的選擇。

The general image of Taipei in my mind was filled with motorcycles and people in the narrow paths and sidewalks. However, Taipei journey in recent days broke my thoughts toward Taipei. For the last day of dinner, we had Din Tai Fung near our serviced hotel in Xinyi district to taste the exceptional gourmet, the elite of Chinese food, dumpling, dim sum items and hot and sour soup. All the dishes are very delicious! It made the best ending of my Taipei trip.

NIR Sensors Used with Identification Algorithms for Completing Tasks of Plastic Sorting Methods



Near-Infrared (NIR) sensor technology coupled with highly sensitive algorithms are likely the most efficient and consistent plastic sorting technologies due to their high sorting accuracy in separating desired plastics from mixed waste, as well as sorting plastics by color and resin types. Identification algorithms then rapidly categorize the different “signatures” of polymers from their infrared spectra.

While other sensor based sorting technologies, such as x-ray, laser, and light emitting device (LED), are capable of distinguishing between colors and densities, NIR with identification algorithms is likely to be the most consistent, accurate, and time-efficient of the various sensor based sorting options in terms of sorting plastics. Lasers and LED have the ability to detect color differences but cannot determine the different resin types of plastics. X-ray technology can decipher plastics from non-plastics but it cannot distinguish different colors and resin types, therefore lessening its overall efficiency in effective plastic sorting. NIR sensors used with identification algorithms are able to consistently complete all necessary tasks in the sorting of plastics.

The Steps of Coffee Processing, Sorting and Cleaning

The final steps in coffee processing involve removing the last layers of dry skin and remaining fruit residue from the now dry coffee, and cleaning and sorting it. These steps are often called dry milling to distinguish them from the steps that take place before drying, which collectively are called wet milling.

The first step in dry milling is removing what is left of the fruit from the bean, whether simply the crumbly parchment skin in the case of wet-processed coffee, the parchment skin and dried mucilage in the case of semi-dry-processed coffee, or the entire dry, leathery fruit covering in the case of dry-processed coffee.

上海噱頭 懸吊15樓空中餐廳

上海飯店業者昨天搞噱頭,從國外空運一座空中餐廳平台,用起重機吊著餐廳到15樓高用餐,外頭颳風下雨都會受影響,但最便宜的下午茶得新台幣上萬元。

綜合上海東方電視台和新聞晨報今天報導,空中餐廳餐桌是一個金屬平台,以鋼索與一台大型起重機連接。整套餐桌平台和鋼索都從比利時空運到上海。

空中餐廳顧客入座得繫上四點式安全帶,共22個座椅,每個座椅都可以左右180度旋轉。餐廳配備兩名大廚,同樣要繫安全帶才能站在中央做菜。

所有人員準備就緒,餐廳開始「起飛」,由起重機吊著整張餐桌緩緩向上空升起。空中餐廳上升約2分鐘,到達50公尺最高點,相當約15層樓高。

據顧客表示,如果往後望或往腳下看,會有眩暈感覺,不適合膽小或有懼高者。上海昨天下雨,整個餐廳只有一個透明頂蓋,四周空蕩蕩,斜風細雨正好撲打在身上。

在半空中用餐還要特別注意,不能讓物品滑出餐桌。因為任何一件東西從50公尺高空墜下,殺傷力不容小覷。昨天就有顧客不小心落下餐巾和叉子,還好下方是空曠的停車場。

這樣的餐廳,所有菜只能用電磁爐烹製,最便宜的下午茶得人民幣1888元,外加15%服務費,合計人民幣2171元(超過新台幣1萬元);晚餐8888元,加上服務費則是上萬元人民幣。

植牙宜趁早 延遲治療問題多

植牙技術引入台灣已經超過二十年,藉由種植人工植體的方式,代替原有的牙根或是缺牙區,能解決傳統固定式牙橋缺一顆牙要做三顆假牙,及活動假牙在咀嚼感受不佳、清潔、容易變形等不良問題。但即使植牙手術已經相當進步,許多人依然對牙科診所望之卻步,加上害怕手術疼痛等問題,寧可忍受缺牙的種種不便,拖到最後一刻才願意去找牙醫師。

牙醫師表示,曾碰一位老煙槍病人,三年多前就已經來看診諮詢植牙,這位50多歲的先生口中都是長牙橋,很多顆牙齒連在一起,牙周狀況也很差,醫師建議要及早展開治療。不料這位病人因為工作忙,再加上初期牙周病也不會痛,患者認為手術還要麻醉跟吃藥才麻煩! 因而掉以輕心,等到再次檢查時,牙齒問題嚴重惡化,治療計畫更加費時費力,可說是越拖越嚴重的典型個案之一。

此外,也有病人治療到一半,因為擔心身體狀況不好影響傷口癒合或其他因素,不願依原定計畫完成療程,突然退縮。這類病人多半認為咀嚼沒什麼大問題了,有幾顆牙可以吃東西就好,不願意配合植牙程序做完,但醫師說明,牙齒只要缺一顆,咬合力量就會受到一定程度的影響,也增加其他牙齒的負擔,千萬別因一時的退縮,賠上更多健康的牙齒。

植牙前必須接受一系列評估,包括拍口內X光片、3D電腦斷層,檢查牙齒狀況,身體狀況也要掌握,評估時也會同時考慮患者的時間、預算等因素,才能讓醫師提供最適合的治療計畫。程昱嘉醫師表示,常見的植牙高風險患者是有煙癮或是未控制的糖尿病、高血壓患者,前者因為尼古丁會抑制纖維母細胞生長,導致植牙傷口不易癒合,後者則是因為傷口容易出血,同時也不易癒合,容易導致植牙失敗。

針對個人不同的狀況,也可搭配其他技術,像是高壓氧治療可加強患者膠原蛋白以及血管增生,讓牙科手術後的傷口出血減少,癒合更快;而針對害怕手術的患者,則可利用鎮靜治療,讓患者進入淺眠狀態,並同時能接受醫師指令張口,就能大幅減少患者的心理抗拒。其實,牙科材料與技術不斷進步,只要妥善進行術前檢查評估,與醫師仔細溝通過後,都能找到符合每個人的治療方式,重新找回一口好牙。

智慧自動化觀摩 反應熱烈

經濟部工業局主辦、財團法人工業技術研究院承辦、以及財團法人精密機械研究發展中心執行的台達電子股份有限公司「伺服馬達轉定子自動組裝產線馬達減速機系統」智慧自動化示範案例觀摩會,12月6日假中科管理局大樓舉行,隨後即前往示範案例台達自働化公司現場進行觀摩,現場示範觀摩座談會及與會參觀業者反應均十分熱絡。

該示範案例導入了視覺辨識、國產機械手臂等智慧化元素,克服多道人工組裝工序,實現智慧自動化製程,有效提升伺服馬達生產效率及品質,減輕線上作業人員負擔,並使工作環境更人性化。

經濟部智慧自動化產業推動辦公室主任陳來勝表示,本次觀摩會核心重點,為透過實際的觀摩,讓相關業界能對於智慧自動化所帶來的效益及技術服務能量得以更加了解。

台達電廠長羅錦璋則表示,「伺服馬達轉定子自動組裝產線系統」所使用的產品如控制器、機械手臂、伺服器、人機介面等,都是以該公司自製馬達減速機產品為主,希望透過本次的示範觀摩,達到拋磚引玉的目的。

除該示範案例觀摩會之外,亦將於12月15日於台北花博爭豔館盛大舉行「2013 經濟部工業局智慧自動化輔導案成果展暨國際智慧機器人競賽」,歡迎各界前往共襄盛舉。

下午茶植牙 即拔即種新趨勢

許多旅居海外的台商或華僑利用過年返台期間接受植牙,但傳統植牙動輒需要三個月或半年時間,但牙齒條件差的人甚至要花上一年才能完成,而台商或華僑卻在短時間內就能完成,究竟如何辦到?其實,國內植牙早已進入「即拔即種」的時代,一天內完成植牙已非遙不可及的夢想。

一名壯齡65歲的陳先生,日常常藉適當的身體活動,來保持身體各部位器官機能良好,他本身患有糖尿病,因為長期戴活動假牙,以致牙齦骨不斷萎縮,平均每三年就要更換一副假牙,後來下排後牙齒槽骨嚴重萎縮,身體條件卻不適合開刀移動下顎骨神經,所幸,微植體的問世解決了這個問題。微植體是長度只有5到7mm的細小骨釘,因為體積小不易引起疼痛,所以不需麻醉就能安裝,全口無牙的患者只要上下各安裝4到6顆微植體,就能產生足夠的支撐力安裝臨時塑膠假牙,提供基本的咀嚼功能,等三個月或半年後牙齦傷口癒合,再回診拆掉臨時假牙,更換正式的假牙,因此他改以前牙區安裝4個微植體的方式,順利讓活動假牙穩固不再滑動,現在連吃硬花生都沒問題。植牙

另一個有助縮短植牙治療時間的技術,就是以自體骨塊取代骨粉,作為補骨材料。早期以骨粉補骨,等待復原時間長,且容易流失,如今則可回收利用牙齒鑽洞時所留下的骨塊,經過雷射消毒殺菌以及人工生膜,再放回牙齦,即可取代骨粉,在短時間內發揮作用。門診有患者拔掉28顆牙,利用殘根骨塊作為補骨材料,順利完成植牙。

日圓貶 亞洲富豪「錢」進東京買樓

據《日本經濟新聞》報導,仲量聯行自2012年底迄今,已向新加坡富豪介紹包含日本三井不動產、三菱地所等大型開發商,在都心地區開發的全新出售高級公寓約150戶。較搶手的是約70~100平方公尺、價位約在8000萬~1億日圓(約2337~2921萬台幣)的物件。

明年仲介案成長3成

而且,「受惠於日圓匯率貶值,從新加坡富人看來,房屋售價便宜約2成左右,購屋需求相當強勁。」明年將增加為投資人舉行的購屋說明會場次,預估仲介案件將較今年成長3成、至約200件。

除了東京之外,蘊含著日本傳統文化的國際級觀光都市—京都,房市也受到矚目。但海外資金持續流入日本房市,是否有導致市場過熱的日本東京房地產投資風險疑慮?專家表示:「東京市場規模雖僅次於倫敦和紐約,但海外投資客比率極低,能容納的空間還相當大。」對市場影響應該算小。

相較於海外富豪買屋,考慮購買中古的一房公寓後出租,增加荷包收入的日本上班族等也有增加的趨勢,交易價格也隨之攀升。投資整棟高級公寓的交易案例也層出不窮,日本東京房地產投資風險降低,市場交易狀況似乎正逐漸恢復到2008年金融海嘯前的水準。

以整棟高級公寓為單位交易的案件也逐漸增加,「三菱UFJ不動產販賣」公司今年1~8月的合約數較去年同期大增4成。平均價格約為2億2000萬日圓,每月成交件數達100件以上。

暴雨襲台! 清除壁癌防過敏氣喘發作

最近連日暴雨襲台,潮溼的環境造成許多民眾家中的牆壁開始發霉,出現一塊塊的黑點,就是俗稱的壁癌,可別不以為意!醫師提醒,家中若有過敏體質及氣喘的民眾,最好將黴菌清除乾淨,並使用除濕機保持室內乾燥,以免引起過敏及氣喘發作。

林口長庚內科部長、台灣胸腔疾病協會理事長郭漢彬指出,麴菌是黴菌的一種,而壁癌中大部分為麴菌,若病患有黴菌過敏,4成都會對麴菌產生過敏反應,而麴菌無所不在,包括家中牆壁、牆角的壁癌、櫃子發霉,以及腐壞、長黴的蔬菜水果等,其中大部分都是麴菌,是引發過敏、氣喘患者發作的原因。

郭漢彬強調,當黴菌產生後,會將孢子散布在空氣中,而進入人體的呼吸道,症狀輕者會出現過敏、咳嗽、鼻塞及頭痛,嚴重者則引起氣喘發作。過敏性鼻炎與氣喘息息相關,在過敏性鼻炎患者中,有2至3成合併有氣喘,氣喘患者則有6至8成合併有過敏體質。

「牆壁出現壁癌,一定要清除!」郭漢彬建議,有過敏體質及氣喘的患者,應時常注意家中角落、物品,是否有出現發霉的情形,並保持空氣流通,及使用除濕機保持室內乾燥,可減少黴菌對身體的傷害。

第二外語 朱立倫推薦日語

新北市長朱立倫今天表示,日本是台灣最重要的經濟伙伴,他建議大學生,若要學習第二外語,日語是不錯的選擇。

朱立倫今天在輔仁大學與大學生座談,分享人生經驗,並鼓勵參與公共事務,讀100本好書、交100個不同領域的好友,走過100個好地方,以拓展視野,發揮同理心、企圖心、執行力及協調力。

學生希望推薦第二外語,朱立倫說,英文、中文是目前全世界最夯的語言,財經出身的他,以自己的工作與商業經驗為例,推薦台中日語學日語。

他以日本神奈川縣知事黑岩祐治18日拜訪市府為例,曾在日本電視台政論節目擔任主持人的黑岩,雖透過翻譯互動,但偶以英語對話,還有同行官員,全程以英語與朱對談。

黑岩並簡報神奈川目前全力推動的預防醫學、綠能產業、太陽能板等,這次為擴展神奈川縣觀光及物產,首度以知事身分率團訪華,台鐵平溪線與神奈川縣江之島電鐵線,已建立觀光合作協定。

朱立倫今天說,「聊得很愉快,是難得可用英語交談的日本外賓。」以台灣的角度來看,中文是優勢,但日本人的英文、中文不佳,日本是台灣最重要的經濟伙伴,所以,台中日語學日文是不錯的溝通方式。

學生關心就業,朱立倫說,需先瞭解自己將來要做什麼。「學以致用」要分成涵養及人生的基礎,建議學與就業有關的語言、專業學識。

公共事務範圍小至生活周遭,大至整個世界的變化,朱立倫鼓勵年輕人多看新聞、關心社會的變化,努力充實自我,進而改變自己、改變世界。
